Toby Swanson

Toby Swanson is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, with an Exercise Science concentration, and a minor in Health Education.

Toby started racing bikes at the age of 14 with the local team Rad Racing, and quickly fell in love with the sport. Over the years, Toby has had experience racing mountain, road, and cyclocross. He has won numerous junior and elite state championships, achieved numerous top five national championships finishes, and gone to the World Championships in cyclocross with the national team.

After an extensive junior career and a year racing in the elite category Toby went to college on a cycling scholarship. In college he broke his wrist and had to have multiple surgeries but still continued riding and was All American two years in a row.

In addition to the personal experience with cycling, Toby has also coached cross country and track for three years, and is currently a head coach at Franklin Pierce High School.
