
Coaching
Private coaching is the fastest and most efficient way to make huge gains in your fitness. Beyond simply guiding your daily training, the team of certified CycleU coaches bring years of their own experience in competition and coaching and act as mentors in all aspects of your sport. Every coach has elite-level competition experience in at least two disciplines, including road racing, cyclocross, track racing, triathlon/duathlon, mountain biking, ultra-endurance, and BMX.
We also have experience with families, jobs, school, injuries, illness, heartache, and rainy days. We understand that these are the factors that will influence your athletic performance, and we do not coldly following a formulaic combination of workout duration and intensity. CycleU takes multiple factors into consideration when matching athletes to coaches to ensure a strong working relationship based on empathy, communication, and introspection.
Classes
Some of Cycle U’s first offerings, and perhaps our most renowned, are our wide assortment of innovative group classes. We offer everything from introductory road classes that teach the fundamentals of riding in pacelines and safe bike handling, to advanced race classes for nearly every discipline of the sport.
When the days get shorter and darker we also offer a popular indoor training series called ICE™ or Indoor Cycling, providing participants with periodized training plans, testing, and a warm, dry, friendly, and rockin’ place to train
Intermittent Cycle U Bootcamps focus on specific disciplines intensely for two to six weeks and mix skill practice with challenging group workouts. These are currently offered for Road Hills, Triathlon and Cyclocross.
Fitness Test
Cycle University believes that Performance Testing is critical for riders wanting to improve by providing a benchmark and key metrics to monitor training.
Performance Testing gives you the information you need to train correctly, track improvement and produce the best performance possible.
Private Lessons
Private lessons or tutoring is a targeted one-on-one session between you and a Cycle University coach for a customized experience. First, we evaluate and discuss your needs, then provide one-on-one coaching, skills demonstrations and supervision to answer your questions and quickly improve your abilities with direct feedback.
Private tutoring may involve putting a bicycle on an indoor trainer to discuss a specific concern like shifting, braking or pedaling, showing you a route to commute or showing you specific skills by example and coaching your technique.

Team CycleU was formed to help new or aspiring racers progress quickly in the sport in a nurturing environment while simultaneously showcasing CycleU training philosophies.
We encourage a healthy relationship to competition, and offer team clinics, workouts and talks geared to give you the confidence and ability to do your best. We also provide discounts on everything from power meters to Specialized bikes and equipment to help riders get outfitted correctly.
