Team HPC – High Performance Cycling
managed by Tom Meloy and David Longdon
Hard to believe, but the Cascade Bicycle Club‘s High Performance Cycling Team (aka “HPC”) is entering its 7th year; you may have noticed us in our trademark white and black team kits. HPC was developed to match the interests and needs of cyclists who like to ride fast, hard, far, and climb hills, but without a racing focus. The HPC program is committed to helping strong cyclists challenge themselves to improve their skills and fitness. The team has a wide range of abilities, though for an optimal experience team members should be able to pedal at least 18 mph on flat terrain.
You can join via the link below. Annual dues are $100 plus $65 for a team jersey, and Cascade Bicycle Club membership is required. Club fit jerseys are available at the Cascade Bicycle Club offices; Race fit jerseys, bib shorts and other team clothing are available for purchase seasonally.
Our primary goal for 2014 is to continue developing “HPC Powered by Cycle U” as cycling team that offers a fun way to not only improve your cycling, but to do it in the company of professional coaches, and riders with similar skills and interests. Light refreshments will be served.
