Private lessons or tutoring is a targeted one-on-one session between you and a Cycle University coach for a customized experience. First, we evaluate and discuss your needs, then provide one-on-one coaching, skills demonstrations and supervision to answer your questions and quickly improve your abilities with direct feedback.

Private tutoring may involve putting a bicycle on an indoor trainer to discuss a specific concern like shifting, braking or pedaling, showing you a route to commute or showing you specific skills by example and coaching your technique.

Typically a private tutoring session will be held at at the Cycle Universities Training Centers at Sand Point or West Seattle and is available weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Private tutoring is at an affordable premium, $80 for the first 60 minutes or 4 hours of private instruction for $300. These are commonly 1 hour every 2 weeksto master a new skill, or at regular intervals you and your coach agree upon. This is perfect for learning multiple new skills with regular feedback and/or training with a coach on the road.

You can also get a group of friends who all want to learn the same skills or do the same workout and cost goes up by 50% for 1st friend, 30% for 2nd, 15% for 3rd, 10%, 5%. ( ie. 2 riders is $120 for 1 hr total or $60 each, 3rd rider add's another 30% ie. $146 for 1 hour is $48 each if you split it 3 ways).
